- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Grease pyrex or tray with butter/ghee.
- In a pot add all your ingredients and allow to warm up slowly. Cook on medium heat. Keep stirring to prevent lumps. The mixture should be smooth.
- Once mixture has thickened (not too thick) pour into your pyrex or tray.. Sprinkle with poppy seeds Pistachio and almonds are optional Bake at 180 degrees for 1 hour till set.
- Allow to cool and cut squares or diamonds.
